PAID NEWS IS A CORRUPT JOURNALISM

Newspapers are the medium that aren’t supposed to lie. But now it is very very common in India to get   published  news ( according to own interests ) by paying the amount to the newspapers to save their own interest's by cheating the readers of the newspaper's .

All though the government said that  “paid news” is  a serious matter, as it influenced the functioning of a free Press and there was an urgent need to protect the people’s right to “unbiased information”.

 
“…when paid information is presented as news content, it could mislead the public and hamper their judgment to form a correct opinion,”

Paid news is broadly publishing/broadcasting advertisements masquerading as news.All though  several media houses and Senior journalists  are against PAID -NEWS  but , it is a matter of great regret that  most of the media Barron's  are doing this ,

I am surprised to read that a most senior Journalist Dr. Ved  Pratap Vadic , came in support of PAID-NEWS , it is shocking .


All though  " Nai-Duniya " is maintaining its stand , by not adopting PAID-NEWS , practice but when masses , adopted that , how one Media House (NAI DUNIYA ) can do some thing more by avoiding this malpractice's .

When MEDIA BARRON'S  are earning money by adopting such malpractice's  , how we can hope about HONEST JOURNALIST  in news paper industry , including  RADIO and TV ,

In my opinion Government must come forward to eradicate this , otherwise MEDIA will loose the faith of READERS ,
